Introduction :

The Government of Maharashtra has introduced the Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana, a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme providing ₹1,500 per month to eligible women across the state. 
Purpose :
This initiative aims to enhance the health and well-being of women through direct financial support. 

Beneficiaries :

Launched on June 28, 2024, the scheme is projected to benefit approximately 2.61 crore women in Maharashtra. It targets state residents between 21 and 65 years of age, with an annual family income of less than ₹2.5 lakh.

Scheme Details :

So far, approximately 2.63 crore applications have been received under this scheme. To date, approximately 2.48 crore beneficiaries have received financial assistance under the scheme in record time. In a short span, the Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana has gained widespread popularity, transforming the lives of millions of women across Maharashtra
